Wash Away the Blues
A new trend in denim is showing its colors for fall. Colored denim is making a comeback and looks fantastic if I do say so myself. I was on the fence at first because it gave me a flashback to the 80's, but if I can embrace lace and skinny jeans, why not colored denim?
A few of our celebrity fashionistas are also sporting this trend.

Rebecca is keeping it casual with a basic black tee.
I'm holding out for the rest of the retail world to put these babies out in a more affordable price. Keep your eyes open for a great color, and don't throw away your trusty blue jeans quite yet. They are always in style!!

Leopard Shoes - Splurge vs. Steal
With a smile on my face - I am pleased to inform you that animal prints are back in action for fall. For those of you who don't know me, leopard print anything is my favorite. I think everyone should own it whether it be an item of clothing or a pillow in your home. It never goes out of style and can make a boring outfit instantly awesome.
Now lets get something straight. Not all leopard is cute and fabulous. For example, head to toe leopard is NOT awesome. Unless you are strutting your stuff down the runway in the latest Marc Jacobs collection, keep it simple. One item of clothing or accessory is all you need to make a statement.
Here are two examples of leopard print gone wrong.
My favorite of all is a great looking leopard print shoe. There are options at all price points. I've included a few of my favorites for your viewing pleasure.
SPLURGE - Leopard Peep Toe
SPLURGE - Ladylike Pumps

Yes people - this can happen. Please don't let it happen to you.
Rhianna just needed to stick to one piece here. She could have rocked both pieces separately.
DO NOT DARE -
The head to toe track suit is a definite NOT, unless you plan on starring in the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Now here is how you can work leopard prints into your wardrobe.
Just a touch is all your need to look pulled together.
Add a scarf to your outfit
Wear as a belt or pair of shoes like Khloe K.

One Dress - 6 Ways!
With my love of polka dots and the color green - I bring you one dress from Ruche six different ways. A few ideas to wear now and a few ideas to wear in the fall and winter.
Outfit #1 - Just the Dress
Just simple and to the point!
Outfit #2 - Add a Jacket
Adding a jacket takes it to a whole new level. The belt is optional. Find a tweed fitted blazer for fall and wear with boots.
Outfit #4 - Add a Belt and a Cardigan
Dusty rose is a pretty contrast to green. The necklace adds a bit of glam to the ensemble. You can also choose a navy, grey, or pink cardigan for different color options.
Outfit #5 - Wear it as a Skirt
Put a sweater on and wear the dress as a skirt. Great for fall when the temperatures get cooler. Yes - I know it's hard to imagine right now.
Outfit #6 - Tie a Knot with your shirt
Unbutton the bottom 3 or 4 buttons and tie the shirt in a knot. Yep - straight out of the 80's folks, but it will look great.
